The five best beer pubs in San Sebastian
Let’s be honest, having a beer after a free tour around San Sebastian is something we always feel like doing, mainly if it’s hot or rainy and we don’t want to be in the street! That’s why today we are going to talk about what we think are the best beer pubs in San Sebastian.
Etxeberria
In Iñigo street there’s one of the most jatorra pubs in all San Sebastian. A small and very welcoming bar that’s quite a show thanks to its bustling atmosphere and nice decoration. The served beers, many craft ones, combine very well with the sandwiches you can order. It’s a very elegant place!
Monpas
In the Sagües area, very close to Nestor Basterretxea’s Dove of Peace, there’s a very nice pub with a lovely terrace that has a lot of beers (craft and ordinary), and a kitchen that cooks very tasty food! The best beer is the Kwak, which is served in a very cool glass.
Baga Biga
A place with pub and restaurant well assorted thanks to its 12 craft beer taps, that’s just by the Urumea river, very close to the Santa Catalina bridge. Cool and modern, truth be said.
Mala Gissona
Zabaleta street is one of the most famous streets in Donosti to have a drink, with a lot of great places both in it and its surroundings. They have some very nice food and beers from their own brewery.
Akerbeltz
Located just by the city walls, in Mari street, we have the best terrace in the Old Town of San Sebastian. Good beer, good views, and the sun!
