Mount Igeldo amusement park
The Mount Igeldo amusement park is one of the most famous locations of the city, and one you usually ask us about during the Free Walking Tour we do in San Sebastian. A piece of childhood for many of us, and an enclave from which to enjoy probably the most iconic view of San Sebastian.
It was inaugurated on August 25, 1912 and maintains the charm of the past, as its wonderful funicular built on the same year. The ascension itself is an experience, as well as getting on the Swiss mountain (not roller coaster), sailing on the little boats or getting lost in the magic labyrinth.
And to end your visit? Watch the sunset from the top of the bay, while the light transforms La Concha bay.
