La Mejillonera Spicy potatoes
At Puerto St there is a small yet long bar with a nice metallic counter that is always filled, or even with people waiting in line to enter! It has a sailor-vibe and a great ambiance always, a perfect place to eat some “patatas bravas” (spicy potatoes). When we pass by with the Free Tour it usually catches your attention. We speak about La Mejillonera.
These potatoes are delicious, boiled on the inside and crispy on the outside and drenched in a handmade spicy (not too spicy) sauce. They are an excellent appetizer to whet your appetite, especially in company.
These calamari have the same sauce and are delicious.
And they always give you a lot of bread to soak it in the sauce, which rocks!
